Watford Colosseum to welcome Royal Marines Band for a charity concert

The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Collingwood will be at Watford Colosseum on Sunday 9 February at 3pm performing a concert in aid of Seafarers UK, the leading charity for seafarers in need.

The popularity and following of the Royal Marines Band – under the direction of Major Pete Curtis MBE – is as strong as ever and Seafarers UK looks forward to providing the Watford audience with a wonderful evening’s entertainment, as well as a few surprises.

The Royal Marines Band Service is world renowned for the quality of its music, visual splendour and meticulous attention to detail on parade. The musicians and buglers of the Band Service are also renowned for their versatility on the concert platform where they enjoy a similar reputation; ensuring their continuing popularity with audiences worldwide.

Last year Seafarers UK gave grants totalling £2.5 million for those in need in the maritime world, which includes the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, the Merchant Navy and UK Fishing Fleets.
