Seafarers UK to bring 3D pavement art to Bristol Harbour Festival

A new attraction at this year’s festival will be an amazing piece of 3D artwork in the Seafarers UK display area by the M Shed on Princes Wharf

Grab a camera or smartphone and get a friend to take your photo standing on the funnel of a ship as it steams along – apparently under the pavement! Everyone visiting the Seafarers UK stand will be invited to enter the charity’s Festival Free Prize Draw to win a Fred Olsen three-night cruise for two, departing from Avonmouth.

Seafarers UK volunteers will be on hand to chat about their work in and around Bristol. They will be joined by members of the local Port Welfare Committee, a forum where all those involved in seafarers’ welfare can meet and share information.

If you know a seafarer or ex-seafarer in need of help, or if you would like to support the charity’s work in the south-west and beyond, please visit the Seafarers UK stand next to the M Shed (BS1 4RN).

Seafarers UK is a charity that helps people in the maritime community by giving money to organisations and projects that make a real difference to people’s lives, across the Merchant Navy, Fishing Fleets, Royal Navy and Royal Marines. Website
